With some of the players not being able to attend the session today, the adventure starts off with a few characters short, although the barbarian does make an appearance after about an hour. The players finish investigating the caravan tents and, after some debate, they head off down a single track looking for the rest of the occupants. What awaits them in the forest? Well giant beetles, stone throwing merchants and a ghostly vision all make an appearance and are dealt with by the party.

After cars last week I thought it was time to return to the next thrilling installment of My Weird Life series of blogs. So far we have had a detail if not scary look at drink, sleep and routines/germs because I have been trying to put this next one off for some time mainly because I think it is going to come across as super weird and also probably cause some controversy. If you are currently eating or having a snack then you might want to put off reading/listening to this blog post since there might be some toilet talk involved. Apart from that, I just wanted to establish at the start that I am fit and relatively healthy and enjoy life – so please keep that in your mind before posting a comment…but you are intrigued now!
The weather has been good the last few days here in the north of England and people are slowly to remove their winter woolies and don sunglasses, vest tops and shorts. As you will be aware, I’m not a great fan of the summer (reasons given here) and although people are in favour of the warmer weather, I still looking forward to October when the darker nights and windy wet weather returns. As I walk home from work every night, I switch to what I call the summer route. This is a route, mainly consisting of different sides of the roads, which provides me with the maximum amount of shade in a vain attempt to keep cool. It is while I was walking home that I started to realise that there were certain things that I am not able to do and will never be able to do.
